In the beginning, Afriex was a bitcoin exchange. After noticing that many of our customers were using bitcoin to send money to other people (instead of buying and holding), we decided to just directly solve the pain point by building a remittance platform powered by blockchain technology.
Our long term goal is to build a truly global bank that enables people to send any currency to anyone anywhere both in fiat and crypto.
