This isn't Vaporware
We invested $2,000,000+ to pilot the first fan controlled football team and it worked better than we expected.
In 2015 we began developing a platform to put sports fans in control of team decisions on and off the field. In February 2017 the first fan-controlled professional sports team on the planet, the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, made its debut. The pilot test in a little known ten-team indoor football league attracted tens of thousands of fans from 100+ countries, generated media coverage from top publications including the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, and yielded partnerships with both Sports Illustrated and Amazon's Twitch. By the end of the season, the fans proved their worth, propelling the Screaming Eagles to the 3rd best offense in the league.
FAN ACCESS NETWORK TOKEN
FAN tokens are the power behind fan interactivity and engagement in the FCFL. All activity in the league relies on FAN tokens, from voting on which coach to hire to real-time play calling during the games. The more FAN tokens a fan owns, the more control that fan has over their favorite team.
Fans can accumulate FAN tokens by watching games, calling plays, proving their knowledge, making team decisions and competing against rival fans. Certain top fans of the team that wins the title get a cut of the $1,000,000 and growing championship prize pool and bragging rights over the rest of the league.

Every aspect of fan engagement in the FCFL ecosystem will be driven by the utility FAN token. An individual fan’s power to influence their team’s crucial decisions - from draft choices and free agent signings to in-game, real-time play calls – will increase as their FAN token ownership increases. Holding certain amounts of FAN token will also grant access to unique content, special perks, prizes, discounts and other FAN token-only rewards.

Summary
Basically, FCFL is a great ICO because of its innovative idea and its ability to make an entirely different sports network. If the team follows their roadmap, they can create a revolutionary way for users to watch and enjoy sports.
Positives
Digital Sporting Application: Users can use FAN Tokens to promote their favorite teams and show their support.
Watch Anywhere: Users like FCFL because they can watch it on their phone, laptop, or another device in any location in the world.
Innovative Games: The teams in FCFL are controlled by the fans.
Negatives
Sporting Competition: FCFL has competition with sporting industries such as NFL and another ICO project FIL.
We've seen various innovative sports leagues come and go over the years, the likes of XFL most notoriously. What's different about this proposition is it seeks to capitalize on the blockchain buzz.
The proposed model does not see blockchain as a functional ingredient but as a way of tokenizing fan participation. Perceptive fans would also question, given none of the players are actually professionals, is it even accurate to call FCFL a pro sports league?
Nonetheless, the concept has gained some traction already, having reached almost half the projected funding goal.
