The Joy will provide the beauty industry with a reliable, practical and efficient platform that will serve the needs of both industry representatives and customers. Using the services of The Joy, one can book the arrival of the practitioner to any place, as well as make an appointment in a beauty salon or spa. The Joy provides freelancers and salons with orders, while consumers on the other hand get high quality beauty services at a time and place that is suitable for them.

PROS:

  • On-demand beauty platforms that work with beauty practitioners-freelancers exist since 2014. However, modern platforms do not have many basic things for customers and practitioners compared to the planned functionality of The Joy. None of these companies provide franchise opportunities. And targeted offline advertising is not used by any player in the beauty and wellness industry.
  • The Joy provides a full range of beauty services from massage to makeup. All providers and beauty salons undergo a thorough check, including checking of certificates, licenses, work experience, and professional skills.
  • On The Joy platform everyone, from a student to a top company manager, will be able to find service according to their requirements and budget. There are also group orders, corporate orders, discount programs for families and students that bring additional value to the customers. Token holders will be able to get discounts on services, depending on the number of tokens they have on their account. The discount for the holders of the tokens can reach 99.99%
  • The Joy's partners will be able to buy unique targeted offline advertising on T-shirts, jackets and cars of The Joy practitioners. In addition, they will be able to purchase online advertising on the corporate blog or social media of The Joy.
  • Each user of the platform can receive a referral bonus for getting new client, practitioner or salon to The Joy. 10% from The Joy’s commission fee from each order goes to referral payments to people that invited the client and the practitioner.
  • There is a unique bonus program and monthly raffle games for clients and practitioners that are active on the platform. The Joy offers customers a bounty program in which they can receive Joycoins by making a relevant post in social networks after the order.
  • When paying for services with tokens, the rate will be 10-20% more profitable than the average exchange rate of the token to the local currency. Thus, token payment will be more profitable than payment by fiat, and token holders who supported the project at the ICO stage will receive real privileges.
  • The Joy will conduct and process opinion polls among clients, practitioners and salons for the partners. Every participant will be rewarded with Joycoins. Budgets for surveys will be also paid with Joycoins by partner companies.
  • By using Ethereum smart contracts all ratings on The Joy will be fixed in the Ethereum blockchain, which will be a guarantee that no one will be able to delete or edit them in the future.
  • Beauty salons will be provided with a booking system where they will be able to enter bookings from other sale channels. The Joy also offers practitioners and beauty salons a financial system to observe and analyse their business KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
  • The logistics system will estimate the route and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) before the beginning of an order, show parking possibilities in real time and save practitioners money and time, allowing them to carry out more orders.

CONS:

  • The project token does not give its owners a right to take part in a decision making process.
  • The Joy platform doesn't make any forecasts about the value of Joycoin, while it is highly affected by changeable market conditions. It also doesn’t provide token holders with any kind of compensation in a case of losses.

SUGGESTIONS:

  • Motivate The Joy token holders by engaging into the decision making process.
  • Provide token owners with warranties associated with the value of a Joycoin and the compensation system in the case of losses.

NOTE:

The Joy’s goal is to provide millions of clients with affordable wellness and beauty services; extend the capacities of thousands of practitioners and salon owners; provide a secure, reliable and scalable platform in the blockchain and sharing economy era; eliminate the inconveniences for the customer and the entry barriers for practitioners. But the ultimate goal is to make it possible for people to care more about themselves and others. Active ongoing cooperation with partners and advisors with vast experience in the fields of IT development, design, marketing, PR, business consulting and beauty will facilitate the creation of such a platform.
