Maitreja

Maitreja is a broad ecosystem of minimalist technological products designed with a modular approach, where each service is interconnected yet independent. Our goal is to create an environment in which its users can make decisions, responsibly and collectively manage it, while treating each other with respect in discussions.

The flagship of Maitreja is its namesake social network. It allows people to connect without anyone exploiting their data or attempting to manipulate them into spending the maximum amount of time on the application. Maitreja does not turn its users into commodities, nor does it serve as a platform where users serve large corporations by consuming displayed advertisements. Instead, it brings us back to the very essence of why social networks were created - to connect with friends, not for someone to sell our data or influence us with paid opinions from advertisers.

However, a whole range of additional applications is built upon the Maitreja social network, which can also function independently. As a result, users can choose to use only the applications they currently need.

All of this can function because the project is developed by a non-profit organization and operates transparently. All earnings go towards its realization and growth. The MAIT token represents the payment of a membership fee to the non-profit organization and enables users to participate in decision-making regarding the direction Maitreja takes. In the event of significant platform success, an additional fund will be established through which every user can influence the projects in which Maitreja gets involved.

The network is currently operating in its alpha version at Maitreja.com and as a mobile application. Unlike many other crypto projects, we already have a functional product, which naturally provides a significant advantage for the entire project and MAIT token holders.
