WannaSwap

WannaSwap Launchpad is a token release platform that brings users quality projects every month. Currently we are still actively working on potential projects coming out on Near/Aurora and will announce the first project soon.

For new projects, WannaSwap Launchpad is more than just a regular token sale platform. It is also a consulting unit, supporting the development of projects from our understanding and relationships in design tokenomics, marketing, grant, investment, liquidity… After IDO, projects also have the opportunity to long-term cooperation with wannaswap such as creating a farming pool or helping to connect with other projects to create a thriving network.

In recent months the market was affected seriously by many factors, that hit not only users but also project teams like us — WannaSwap. We do totally understand users have well-founded worries but we have to admit that we made a position ourselves: TVL, Trading Volume & number of transactions are always top 2 native DEX on Near’s Aurora EVM.

Basing on the market situation and the project’s current position we decided to make an important innovation in the vision — from focusing on “earn more $WANNA” to building the real value for our project and token. In other words, make more token use cases by apps that require using WANNA. And these are the major contents updated until Q2 2023.

New apps

These are the first 3 apps in a series of many apps that are mandatory to use WANNA, WANNAx, or USDT with a fee to burn or buy back then burn.

• Betting: Bet and get a reward after every match. Expected release: Nov 2022.
• Prediction: A simple decentralized prediction market. Expected release: Jan 2023.
• Lottery: Get a chance to win a huge prize. Expected release: TBU.

Launchpad Upgrade

Launchpad has not been widely used because the market situation is quite bad and the releasing speed of projects on Aurora is quite slow. In addition, the current Launchpad is relatively different from other platforms on Aurora. Although it brings advantages to fundraising projects (proven by the first IDO project Fusotao compared to other platforms), changes in usage habits affect user participation. To improve this problem and create more options for projects to choose the most beneficial IDO form for their model and community, we will add a new IDO option. Requiring WANNA or WANNAx to join IDO in addition to USDT and starting charging IDO fees to buy back and burn WANNA tokens. Expected release: Q1 2023.

Most especially, WannaSwap’s Launchpad is also supplemented with WannaSwap Venture. Projects participating in IDO on WannaSwap Launchpad will have an opportunity to receive investment and support from WannaSwap’s Investment Fund. WannaSwap Venture will be owned by WannaSwap team in the beginning before being owned by the community. We are starting it by cooperating with professional persons in this space on Near’s Aurora EVM. Expected release: Dec 2022.

Governance & veWANNA

Governance is not a novel feature. But it will use veWANNA — a Staking option that provides voting power for future governance as well as rewards from other apps in WannaSwap’s ecosystem. Expected release: Q1 2023.

Expected release: From Nov 2022 to Feb 2023.
