VETIO aims to offer a platform for people to find other ICOs and a strong community that publicly assess specific parts of the listed projects. The main power of our platform relies in the quality of our community of content creators that create reports and analyze projects in terms of team, technology, tokenomics and express personal opinions on those issues.
In terms of functionality, besides the main details of the projects that all the listing platforms offer (description, start/end date, soft cap, hard cap etc) there are two main areas of our platform that represent our unique value proposition. Offering users the ability to publicly express their views on specific projects and a changing scoring system that constantly scrapes information from the aggregated projects and expresses the overall "traction" that a project has. The overall traction score of a specific project will be similar to the "trust" score that most of the listing platforms currently have, but it will be variable in the way that it will constantly change accordingly to the assessed traction of the project.
The algorithm will scrape the relevant channels that the project relies on like the growth of the main discussion group, main social channels, forum growth, and traffic estimates and weight those separately to provide the overall traction score. And because our tool will constantly scrape for changes, if the growth will increase or decrease, the score will update automatically.
We think that with the implementation of this process, we will be able to objectively assess each project in terms of "hype" or "traction" while letting our community do the assessment in terms of "quality" or "legitimacy".
The reports functionality will be similar to any discussion group or forum, but it will have the advantage of being in a close ecosystem with relevant information being offered in the same channel where the project is listed. In this way, we believe that not only we will provide great value to quality projects in terms of initial buzz, but we will also help other people that are conducting their own due diligence to have a more broader overview and assessment before making a decision. Our platform will also have a ranking system that will be weighted based on the traction score, community engagement, and active success like funds raised/time.
