I am using my background in building online trading platforms and designing financial products to help Abacas build a next-generation crypto marketplace.

Abacas is approaching crypto market with the discipline and transparency of the traditional financial markets. It is very refreshing, it's like having an adult in a room.

As Head of Development, I oversee the complete design and development of the Abacas Exchange.

I am the Founder, Principal, and Head of Product Development. I love the idea of making the markets more accessible to everyone; to improve both security and transparency; to lower the cost; and to level the playing field. This is the Vision of Abacas and the AbacasXchange!

It is extremely exciting to work on one of the biggest innovations in the financial industry. Never before has there been a digital asset-for-asset exchange that allows you to trade, exchange or transfer Any Asset Anywhere Anytime.

The whole team is extremely committed to realising the vision of Abacas and I believe they are the right people to do it.

Abacas is undoubtedly a brilliant idea. Digitising assets and making them tradable through Abacas Exchange sounds like a brilliant idea. What I loved about Abacas mainly is their seriousness about Cyber security. They are very proactive and serious about Cyber security and that shows seriousness in the Idea and ICO

As an academic advisor to Abacas, I am excited to apply my mathematical expertise towards the critical issues involved with transporting data and value along an immutable blockchain. We are building an interconnected financial ecosystem where any asset can be tokenized then exchanged for any other in a low friction, efficient, and cryptographically secure way. It is an exciting prospect to be on the forefront of this revolution in asset management.

Whether in the crypto financial world or in the traditional one, professional asset managers, investors and asset owners alike face the same challenges including the safe custody of assets, price discovery, liquidity and regulatory compliance.

Solutions to these challenges are well-known on Wall Street, yet they are largely unavailable to participants in the blockchain space. This is exactly what the AbacasXchange ecosystem is offering by bringing these traditional financial services to blockchain-based services while tackling blockchain-specific issues such as asset digitization (aka proof-of-asset). It opens up new possibilities, for example the AbacasXchange will allow trading of any *arbitrary pair* of assets against each other without resorting to the USD or other fiat currencies, thus reducing transaction costs.

Abacas was founded by 2 successful entrepreneurs Vince and Mark who were already building web-based trading solutions in the early days of the internet in the late 90s and whose expertise in every steps of the trade lifecycle earned them a US patent on multi-party trade matching.

Abacas is a really different kind of exchange that brings asset backed token based trading on the blockchain with the ability to tie back the token to the underlying asset through a chain of custody of ownership of the assets. Further the exchange will be compliant with existing regulations and providing transparency and liquidity to the users of the exchange which is currently not available in the current cryptoexchanges.
The prospect of bringing financial services functionality to the cryptoworld appealed to me the most and I bring my experience and knowledge of financial systems to the AbacasXchange project by acting as an advisor

Apart from being the focal point of all capital market activity, Exchanges
are the foundation of a capital market, and to some degree an economy. Succesful exchanges are, in most cases, virtual oligopolies. The transition of pricing centres across onto blockchain ultimately improves the integrity of pricing. I am excited to be involved in such an ambitious project and honored to be part of the Abacas team.

Having spent many years studying the trading nuances and psychology of trading via the blockchain - the result of which was FundFantasy - I am very excited about joining the Abacas team. Our shared philosophies will enhance the user experience of the AbacasXchange community while offering a tool that will act as a guide for education and training.
