How does Bizum work?

Access Bizum from your bank’s app

Find Bizum in the app of any of our partner banks and, if you have not yet done so, activate the service.

Enter the mobile number and the amount

Look for the option “Send and receive money with Bizum”, enter the mobile number or select the recipient from your contact list and indicate the amount. Check that the information is correct, name of the person and amount, and validate the operation.

Click send and make bizum!

Once sent, if the receiver already uses Bizum, the money will be available in seconds. In case they are not a Bizum user, we will send them an SMS with instructions on how to receive the money quickly and easily.
