This is a delivery service platform that utilizes blockchain technology to track packages while protecting customer’s identity and ensuring timely delivery.

PROS:

• Frictionless: The platform creates a frictionless process through enabling open communication between the customer and delivery drivers. The customers have a virtual control of their last-mile product delivery once they place an online order leading to speedy deliveries
• Efficiency: The use of NakaPakk’s blockchain technology enables faster delivery as the platform partners with Package Delivery Point(PDP) hence shielding businesses  from  pirates and inclement weather
• Transparency: The platform allows play-by-play  details of the entire  last mile  and the consumers are able to track the delivery process  and get to know exactly when the packages will arrive
• Less costly: The  platform PDPs are located closer  to the where the customers reside  resulting to a shorter distance  and less time  taken to make the final delivery reducing the overall export expenditure by the users
• Zero loss: The  platform give the consumers the control to schedule the day  and time of delivery  when they are their residents resulting to zero missed deliveries and zero package theft
• The platform is built on escrow  and  blockchain technology enabling the secure storage of the users data  and delivery information without access by any unauthorized personnel

CONS:

• The platform  doesn’t permit token use  from individuals  from countries that have been deemed State of Sponsors of Terrorism
• The funds held using NextPakk   are generally uninsured   and can lead to losses
• The consumers can lose access to their accounts in case of loss of their credentials

SUGGESTIONS:

• The platform  should set a public insurer to help in protecting the  funds on the platform
• The platform should involve more team members to help in easy project implementation

The platform use heavily   improves the logistics industry as it grants the customers control over the delivery process hence preventing missed deliveries and unexpected costs. This promotes me to highly invest in the project.

Differentiation: The platform differentiates itself from other delivery services by allowing for the ability to receive a package while maintaining privacy. Furthermore, it allows users to choose a pickup time that works best for them and NextPakk claims that “packages are delivered on time, or delivery is free”.

Market Penetration Potential: There are current issues due to the “last mile” problem that is discussed well in the whitepaper. If the platform is able to successfully develop a service that can do what the organization sets out to do, consumers will be quite willing to utilize the platform. As a result, the market penetration potential is evident.

It is stated that the platform will have a similar affect to how Airbnb affected the hotel industry.
