At its core, the platform facilitates crowdfunding for real-world renewable projects including solar power plants, biodiesel refineries, and tree plantations. Investors receive profit-sharing distributions based on the number and type of NFTs they hold. These returns are paid in ADA and claimed through secure on-chain smart contracts.
The investment process begins with users completing identity verification via KYC. Once verified, users can mint NFTs directly on the platform. Each NFT is linked to a specific asset and entitles its holder to a proportional share of the profits generated. When claiming a distribution, the NFT is burned and instantly re-minted with updated data to ensure a tamper-proof and transparent tracking system.
One of the platform’s flagship projects is a solar rooftop plant in Ribnitz, Germany, with a capacity of 76.4 kWp. This installation produces around 78,000 kWh annually and has already generated over 1.1 million kWh and approximately €420,000 in profits since its launch in 2009.
