What is the significance of the CoinDesk PitchFest 2024 in showcasing early-stage Web3 companies, and what can we expect from this year’s competition?

S: This is the first year Moflix is attending the Coindesk Consensus event so it’s an honor to be selected to present at Pitchfest to showcase what our company is doing to accelerate mass Web3 adoption for consumers to - the world's largest gathering of cryptocurrency, blockchain and Web3 communities. 

Looking over the list of the other companies who are pitching, We see a wide variety of strong contenders who are pioneering the future of Web3 in many diverse ways that will be seen by not only the judges, but also by the community and investors as well. In addition to our own pitch, we are excited to learn more and also keep our eyes open for new partners and collaborations.

What additional events and networking opportunities are available around Austin during Consensus, and how can attendees participate?

S: In addition to the Consensus 2024 mobile app that seems to have everything an attendee needs in one place, the event team has been great about sending out email updates with links to activities and networking opportunities.

The after hours guides are helpful since many of those are not official event sponsored activities, but are fun and valuable.

How can attendees best navigate the Austin Convention Center to maximize their Consensus 2024 experience?

S: At least for me, the event has really easy to follow signs and directions.  Near the registration area is a map of the hall with info on all of the exhibitors and stages.

The app has the full agenda and networking contacts available, and there are also event team members around who have been helpful for me to answer questions or point me in the right direction.<

As a semi-finalist, what innovative solutions does Moflix bring to the table, and how does it aim to disrupt the Telco business model with its Web3+FinTech approach?

S: Moflix offers Telcos similar disruptive opportunities that FinTech and DeFi bring to financial services that can also act as a reference for the industry how to prepare and enable their consumers for Web3 experiences.

Today, the typical Web3 user tends to be a technology enthusiast with a niche focus. What can we do to make entry to the world of Web3 as easy to start and use as Netflix or WhatsApp and available for everyone?  

So we are starting with the Telecom industry.  Telco operators have an unprecedented huge adoption in the market with an engaged audience and over 8 Billion active SIM cards worldwide.  So let's open the door to automatically issue the tools they need so everyone can participate in equality in this new digital economy. 

How do you turn that audience into active Web3 users?

S: Step One is Connectivity Inclusion.

Connectivity is the core of our modern digital lives. So we need to provide a Mobile App that allows everyone to effortlessly onboard to a mobile connection 24/7.

Step Two is Identity Inclusion.

As regulatory pressure grows across all industries, Digital Identities and Verifiable Credentials will be needed more and more for online transactions.

In most markets, onboarding to a Telco service requires regulated KYC (Know Your Customer) verified identification. We already can do fully digitally and securely in the mobile app nearly instantaneously from wherever you are without needing to visit a shop.

After users sign up and are verified (the end-to-end onboarding takes less than 3 minutes) then we can issue every user their free Digital Identity (DID) and enable Verifiable Credentials.

Step Three is Financial Inclusion.

Every user is then issued a free Integrated Digital Wallet with recovery features for them to store and fully control their personal data and assets. 

By having their Digital ID and Wallet, the Telco Operator can then engage with crypto loyalty reward programs to give their customers immediate value.
