CookUp es una plataforma para ordenar alimentos y compartir conocimientos relacionados con la cocina que conecta a todas las personas que cocinan con personas que necesitan comidas caseras de calidad. Queremos ofrecer una alternativa en el mercado actual de pedidos de alimentos, al mismo tiempo que ayudamos a combatir el problema del hambre en el mundo. CookUp tendrá una serie de ventajas sobre sus competidores exclusivamente gracias a la tecnología blockchain.

La idea de CookUp nació en 2016 como una plataforma que brindaría a los usuarios la oportunidad de cocinar para otros o compartir sus conocimientos sobre cocina y recibir una compensación por sus servicios. Teniendo en cuenta la gran cantidad de problemas en ese momento, era necesario encontrar una solución dentro de la cual funcionaría la aplicación. Con la ayuda de la tecnología blockchain en este punto, es posible crear una solución totalmente integrada a través de la cual los chefs ofrecerían servicios de cocina y los usuarios pedirían comida, mientras que las transacciones se realizarían en fichas de CHEF. Dado que el mundo se dirige hacia la descentralización de servicios, otorgar a todos la posibilidad de ofrecer sus servicios de cocina en el mercado es un paso en esa dirección y en este momento no existe ninguna aplicación global de este tipo en el mercado.

I'm the CEO of the CookUp project. It is a food ordering and knowledge sharing platform that connects everyone who cooks with people in need of quality home-made meals. We want to provide new career opportunities for people who cook and a quality alternative on the current food ordering market while helping to fight the world's hunger problem.

My role is that of Chief Marketing Officer at CookUp ICO.

As someone working with both corporations and NGOs on daily basis, I guess what I love about the idea the most is that CookUp is open, globally universal, inclusive, and that it helps fight the World hunger.

CookUp opens up the exchange of the most fundamental and yet probably the most institutionally regulated need all people have. Regardless where they are, most people eat every day in order to live. By connecting those who cook with those who eat in a way that is convenient and secure, CookUp breaks boundaries of the usual, and gives people what they want: those who cook can find those who eat, and vice-versa.

CookUp is a truly open platform; its open nature shows itself clearly in a way that it doesn't concern itself with culinary quality, culture, means or other usually found qualitative dining criteria: it's really entirely up to the people. In other words, no matter if the ability to prepare food at home and share it with the World is her need (work to survive) or want (pleasure of cooking), our Cook will prosper or realise herself. No matter if he is motivated by true need (hungry) or want (discover cuisine that's true and authentically local) our Eater will satisfy his hunger or craving for a true experience just the same.
