Zild's open-source code allows any developer to build decentralized applications of different shape and form that operates on the Zild protocol, which guarantees security and design simplicity. The decentralized system of Zild differs significantly from the hierarchical financial
structures controlled by central banks. Its main feature is that the issue and circulation of money and other assets are controlled only by individuals and communities — their direct owners. Any Zild user, be it an individual or an organization, has direct access to all services and tools. At the same time, they bear full responsibility for their funds: tokens are stored not in the bank, but in the blockchain.
Our decentralized lending platform serves both as an investment and commercial bank. With Zild users can borrow or lend tokens to each other on the blockchain at a mutually agreed percentage. Lending rates are determined by the market method based on supply and demand. Therefore, people without access to banking services can receive interest on their savings. There is a problem in the modern economic world. Most banks set high requirements for people who plan to use their services. And taking or granting a loan outside of traditional financial structures is fraught with the problem of lack of trust. Without collateral, you can’t take a loan. It would be challenging for borrowers and lenders who do not know each other to trust.
Our mission is to bring uncollateralized loans to DeFi world. Uncollateralized loans bring a wider borrower audience without high requirements. Secured loans, which require collateral such as ERC-20 tokens or ENS domains, provide the starting point for decentralized
lending. When there is a security that can be realized to regain the loss, trust is not decisive since the collateral is held on the smart contract address. However, the use of collaterals does raise the bar for access to finance (which we are aiming to lower in the long run). While collateralized loans are truly a trustless solution for decentralized lending, eventually to achieve a burst in crypto-lending, uncollateralized lending should be adopted. This is the only solution for true equality in DeFi. Current crypto-lending solutions do not live in a decentralized environment yet. Moreover, most of them rely on credit ratings from traditional financial institutions, saving an escape
route back to the centralized environment. Such solutions should be avoided, but not rejected fully since the centralized environment is much needed for the onboarding of users in the decentralized space. Reputation is accredited. A reputation system is a convenient way to establish trust between the borrowers and the lenders. Trust means that the lender is willing to provide a loan even if the loan is not secured by collateral. To do so we introduce our Reputation system and Xild tokens. Xild tokens will allow borrowers to lend with lower collateral or even without collateral.
