Blockchain is a public ledger of all transactions taken place.Blockchain was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto.The first application of blockchain technology was a digital coin called bitcoin, a peer-to-peer electronic cash system , released in 2009.As it is decentralized,it is impossible to be controlled or changed by one authority.It is made up of Series of blocks containing a cryptographic hash of the previous block,a timestamp and transaction data.The first block is called Genesis.Blocks are linked together consecutively.Miners verify transactions and add them to blockchain.
