"True News" is the news application developed by True News, Inc., which provides you with the more reliable information with faster speed than other media. The speed of reporting news is as fast as existing social network services and mutual monitoring and evaluation system installed in the system promises its reliability. True News is, with the concept of Blockchain technology, the next-generation news service.
A lot of information reported in the existing SNS and media is blur and difficult to distinguish true or fake. Sometimes the one who reported denies the news by his/herself at the personal SNS account. Since reliability of the information is being broken down, many people including us are wondering the way information is reported. We believe that True News is the one which leads its way to what it should be.
Technology and economy concerning blockchain is under development and we unfortunately have to say that our Japan is behind other proceeding countries, as there are only some projects utilizing blockchain technology. The reason why we decided to try utilizing blockchain in media platform is because “we hope Japan to be a leader of blockchain technology in the world”. We are developing our project, hoping this challenge will be a part of the road which leads Japan and also the world to an innovative future.
(1) Decentralized reporting of information
Nothing is more valuable than information in investing and also in many other fields. Existing mass-media is gathering news to report with Twitter or Facebook, but they have to take an editing step before reporting, which means there is no way to cut out the gap between gathering and reporting.
Our True News has the same, decentralized reporting as existing Social Network Services, to optimize the speed of reporting. The information reported from the place where an incident occurred can cut out the time between gathering and reporting. Also, out system gives rewards of cryptocurrency to users, which may accelerate the speed of reporting and surpass existing SNS.
(2) Mutual monitoring system (to keep objective reliability of information)
Existing SNS do not have any system to keep reported information to
be reliable. A major feature of our True News is objective reliability of information reported in the system. To realize this feature, True News has "mutual monitoring”and“reward and penalty”system. Information reported by a certain user will be monitored and judged by other users who have the same information, which will judge true or false of the reported information immediately. Based on the premise that the number of users is sufficient, "faster reporting" and "objective reliability” will be realized by our system.
(3) Reward and penalty
This“reward and penalty”system promotes mutual monitoring and judging among users. Simple explanation of this system is as followed; - Rewards of cryptocurrencies will be given to reporters who upload correct news or to judges who make correct judge to uploaded news. - Penalty will be given to reporters who upload fake news or to judges who make wrong judges to uploaded news.
