SkateX, a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) where players actually own their skateboards. These one-of-a-kind boards are NFTs (nonfungible tokens), and function as players’ digital assets in the game.

In SkateX, by buying your board, you’ve purchased a one-of-a-kind asset — a work of art, as many skate enthusiasts will agree. From foreground and background to griptape color and wheel design, each one is 100 percent unique.

By buying your board, you own a stake in the game; you’ve literally invested in a community. You haven’t just paid to play in the SkateX universe; you’ve become part of the SkateX universe. Your board is yours to use, upgrade, trade or sell — and not just in SkateX, but in other Web3 experiences as well. The board belongs to you, the player, not to the game or its developers.
