About Hanging Trails

Vision: To create a network of environmentally conscious trails to connect people with nature, foster conservation values, and contribute to the well-being of both communities and ecosystems.

Mission: To harness the sustainability of community projects and public environmental stewardship by sharpening the social integrity of the community.

Goal: To construct the 1100 meters of the confluence of Blended Foot Trails in the Mountains of Nepal for the comfort of the community and the tourists visiting the hills. To bring a sense of closeness between human and nature by making it more accessible to humanity to live in greenery and in harmony with its surroundings.

By nurturing a culture of public ownership and shared responsibility, the Hanging Trail Project envisions a rural community that thrives economically, socially, and spiritually and lives in harmony with its surroundings. It celebrates local culture, preserves the environment, and creates a sense of pride and belongingness among community members. The project serves as a catalyst for positive change, inspiring other communities to embrace similar initiatives and fostering sustainable development goals in rural areas.

Features

1. Multicultural Multi-religious, Multi Indigenous Peoples' and Multi-Institutional Participators in the Project (Direct and Indirect ) , Rich Moral Community with Higher Public Ownership of the Public Property.
2. First Foot trail in the Country to have a confluence of all the existing trails (Blended Trails) in the Country.
3. TrailBeyondTourism(WomenEmpowerment&Entrepreneurship).

Our major feature and concern is the emphasis on creating a rich moral community and fostering higher public ownership of public property. When community members feel a sense of ownership and pride in public assets, it fosters collective responsibility for their care and preservation. This contributes to the long-term sustainability and well-being of the community.

The concept of the first foot trail in the Country that brings together the confluence of all existing trails is a unique character of the project. This blended trail offers a unique experience for visitors and promotes collaboration and unity among different trail networks. It can become a symbol of integration and shared cultural heritage, showcasing the diverse landscapes, ecosystems, and cultural traditions within the Country.

Furthermore, the project's aim to go beyond tourism and focus on women's empowerment and entrepreneurship is inspiring. By providing opportunities for women to participate in the project and support their entrepreneurial endeavors actively, the project contributes to gender equality, economic empowerment, and social development. This approach recognizes the important role that women play in community building and fosters their inclusion and leadership within the project. Overall, your project's emphasis on inclusivity, cultural diversity, public ownership, and women empowerment aligns with the principles of sustainable community development and social progress. By embracing these values, your project has the potential to create a harmonious and inclusive environment that benefits the entire community.
