The Grow & Mine project is an agricultural and cryptocurrency investment simultaneously. Farming and mining are going to be our strategic processes. As you know, cryptocurrency mining generates a huge amount of by-product thermal energy. We want to use this heat for growing agricultural products all year round.
The low cost of electricity and the cold climate make Siberia an excellent place for mining. Our project involves the use of tertiary heat energy, which not just increases the efficiency of electricity consumption, but also allows us to start a completely different process, i.e., the cultivation of food based on a closed and highly productive ecosystem (CES) that can function in cold climates all year round.
This process will be implemented with a combination of several ecosystem elements – fish and mushroom farms and a dome greenhouse with plants. Their interaction will be based on the principles of bio-organic farming and modern technologies that will allow growing fresh and healthy food. Also, local farming helps to avoid long-term transportation, which in turn leads to savings in exhaustible resources and a reduction of air pollution.
One of the most important technical elements of the system is an automated microclimate management system capable of supporting the necessary conditions in a closed ecosystem 24/7. This leads to reduced labor costs and increased productivity and effectiveness of the system.
