Since 2015, AID:Tech has been providing a blockchain platform that offers multiple applications to address this and some of the world’s biggest problems. In particular, AID:Tech addresses two problems by enabling the asset tokenization of user’s identity and the services they can unlock.

Firstly, without legal identity, each time a person receives aid, donations, welfare payment or remittances it is a ‘one-off’. A Digital ID addresses this but leads to the second problem; data ownership and management. It is a wasted opportunity if there is no way for end-users to capture data that is associated with their Digital IDs. Having a digital ID is a gateway to a personal profile built upon data received by each person’s blockchain ID.
