I have been active on early-stage investment market since its very inception in Poland in 2008 when I joined leading business angel network. In the next years I got involved in seed fund and then in venture fund management. As Investment Manager in the Zernike Meta Ventures Fund in Poland I am responsible for sourcing, screening, making due diligence, valuating and then negotiating deals as well as supporting our portfolio companies to grow. In recent years I have also participated in number of trainings, seminars & conferences around the globe, including Singularity University, Future Med (currently known as Exponential Medicine), European Venture Capital Association Academy (majority of courses), Angel Capital Education Foundation and many other. Additional to start-ups courses I also passed all three levels of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exam. The knowledge and experience that I gathered I have been sharing as a speaker on hundreds of trainings and presentations for entrepreneurs I have held in last 8 years. I have been also invited to sit as a business expert in evaluating projects in the National Centre for Research and Development as well as in Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. Meantime, I became a serial entrepreneur having launched two companies and next one – a disruptive technology and green-tech accelerator is just about to take off this quarter.
