Brickken is creating a dApp (decentralized application) that provides the tools needed for individuals and businesses to issue their own Security Tokens, anywhere in the world using state-of-the-art blockchain technology.

Brickken technology finally allows self-crowdfunding. Brickken’s platform provides a user interface that is a best-in-class experience and easy to use.

The platform opens opportunities to individuals and businesses looking for alternative methods of raising funding, through tokenization, without intermediaries.

Brickken’s original mantra was that we would ‘tokenize the world’. We quickly realized we were approaching the accessibility of illiquid markets from the wrong perspective.

Mission
Our mission statement is to help asset owners around the world raise decentralised funding utilising blockchain-based technology, giving individuals and businesses the chance to generate passive revenue. Brickken is providing the tools needed to tokenize the world.

Vision
We aim to standardize the process by which asset tokenization and tokenization services across the globe are executed and facilitate tokenization through Brickken’s decentralized application (dApp). We believe in a decentralised and tokenized world.

The Fuel
Brickken's utility token BKN, will be used for all transactions made within the platform.

The Engine
A decentralized application capable of providing the simplest way to issue security token initiatives and initiate an STO. Brickken's dashboard, allows investors to browse and buy the tokenized assets using Brickken. Smart contracts facilitate legal and regulatory compliance and will engage with the issuer, investor and the platform.

Compliance
A Know-Your-Customer system integrated with the platform will verify the identity of both issuers and investors and ensure regulatory compliant STOs.

Buying BKN
Brickken provides issuers a solution to fund their account balance by purchasing BKN tokens directly from the platform.

Start STOs
Brickken allows issuers to create STOs using BKN and set the terms related to each STO (type, tokenomics, maturity, terms, etc.), directly from the platform.

Withdrawing Funds
Issuers can withdraw successful STO tokens into USDC directly from the platform.

Dividend Management
Issuers can easily manage dividend distribution to investors, which ensure efficient use of time and resources.

Invest in Live STOs
Brickken provides investors with a dashboard broadcasting the live STOs created using Brickken’s decentralized protocol. Brickken’s platform ensures an optimized user interface and experience to improve the investment experience.

Crypto Payments
Brickken has a crypto-payments system that allows investors to buy tokens using any crypto asset available in the marketplace.

Wealth Management
Brickken allows investors to manage their investments in tokenized assets easily. Directly from the platform, investors can receive and withdraw dividends.

STO Token Exchange
Investors can exchange their acquired security tokens for all the available security tokens in the platform.

  1. FRONT-END: The front-ends dashboard will integrate MetaMask and an API service. The MetaMask integration is required to allow users to interact directly with the blockchain and protocol contracts, while the API service will handle KYC management, user logins, registrations, and general operations.
  2. BACK-END: The back-end will consist of a set of lambdas functions that serve the dashboard app, but also expose the tokenization service without the need for a dashboard. For this, the transactions that are sent through an API integration, will use Infura instead of MetaMask, to send the transactions to the blockchain.
  3. KYC SERVICE: The KYC service solution will connect to our existing Lambdas system. Acceptance and rejection of requests can be executed with the API or through the dashboard.
  4. DATABASE: The database will store useful information for the functionality that Brickken proposes to build (users that might register their emails, metadata’s, transactions, etc.).
  5. SMART CONTRACTS: The smart contracts will be made up of an ERC20 token contract (BKN), and a smart contract that acts as a factory for two other smart contracts;
    • The escrow contract is where investors deposit money until the STO is finalized.
    • The ERC20 token contract will represent STO specific tokens. The escrow contract will also be the one that issuers use to deposit the dividends/ interests that serves as revenue (yield) for the investors.

As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project?
I am a Senior Advisor to Brickken. My background is in traditional finance with roles as a portfolio manager and strategist in global equities before recently founding the consulting firm Green Edge Advisors. I have worked at Investment Banks such as Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as well as for Hedge Funds. I am working with the Brickken team on go-to-market strategies and helping bridge the gap to the traditional finance community.
What do you think about idea?
I'm very excited to be working with the Brickken team to help them unleash enormous value through STOs and decentralization. The digitalization of assets has already begun as virtually every aspect of the capital markets will have to be recreated in the digital space. The majority of financial assets globally suffer from low liquidity and very high transaction fees. This inefficiency creates enormous potential for digital finance. Via STOs and DeFi, Brickken will enable a huge step towards true democratization of the financial markets and create new and exciting investment opportunities for all.

I think Brickken´s business model comes at the right time to market and has a great potential to bring liquidity to traditional assetts, business models an overal industries, where current market is become eager to innovate and regulator is finally more open, thanks to Renta 4´s first project in the spanish sandbox.

Edwin Mata
As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project?
I am the CEO and Co-Founder of Brickken. I am a digital lawyer specialized in high tech and securities, making me the trust foundation for what we are creating. My day to day lies on making sure that everyone pushes in the same direction, and make sure they have everything they need to put their expertise into practice. I deal with overcoming errors and frustration and turning it into positive outcomes so we can continue learning and developing Brickken. Due to the product we are dealing with, I must transmit to all departments the need to reassure to third parties that legality comes first and technology second, as we are dealing with regulated markets and such must be handled with extreme caution. I ensure that we all have a 360 vision on what we are creating and where we are going, to make sure we all work as the same organism, part of the ecosystem we are building.
What do you think about idea?
What started as an idea became a vision, which is now a reality. We are building a decentralized ecosystem where companies can self-crowdfund through STOs, and anyone can invest in markets they never imagine before. What we are trying to achieve here is a self-sustainable environment for funding and investing, where both parties coexist and communicate directly without intermediaries. We want to reduce barriers and simplify process, while providing a robust structure. The world will be tokenized, and Brickken will play a major role in this new era.
Manuel Ortiz-Olave
As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project?
My role is on finance and economics due to my background in finance and investment management. I support the team in various matters such as financial, accounting, tax, investment, valuation, financial modelling, sales, operations. I have been involved in private equity and capital markets for close to a decade in London and now would like to see how innovative technologies move forward disrupting traditional sectors.
What do you think about idea?
It is, to the best of our knowledge, the wolrd's first fully decentralised STO ecosystem. Our idea is that the world tokenises itself rather than through third party platforms. This is what in our opinion makes us different from all other tokenisation platofmrs which suffer from centralisation issues as they have to be governed by local regulations depending on the issuance country.
Dario Lo Buglio
As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project?
I have experience in developing and securing smart contracts, and my role is to create the blockchain foundation under which Brickken runs. I must create the base for where security token offerings are issued, making sure that not all the code is perfect, but that it is able to comply with the legality needed.
What do you think about idea?
BKN is a concept that is three years old now and it went through a process of trials and errors, testing the markets and changing designs that ended up in the vision that Brickken has now: to change STOs once for all in a trustless and distributed way"
Yassir Haouati
As a team member, сan you tell us about your role in the ICO project?
As one of the Co-Founders, and having a swiss-army knife skillset, I support the team in various departments: Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Operations. My main role within the team is defining the Marketing plan, designing the customer journeys and building/optimizing the different funnels for the different customer personas. But also, being a full-stack developer and UX/UI designer, I support the Tech team on the full-stack website development, the UX/UI design of the product, and the front-end development of the product.
What do you think about idea?
Brickken is literally the STO ecosystem revolution! We provide an easy-to-use fully-decentralized tech-stack that worldwide entrepreneurs need in order to tokenize freely and launch their own Security Token Offerings.
Personally, having seen internally how-fast Brickken is growing, thanks to the efforts, intelligence, motivation, and skills of all the team members, I truly believe that Brickken will no doubt be a great success.
Bram Duindam

I'm for a big part responsible for the marketing and growth efforts within Brickken. From defining the strategy till the final execution of the campaigns .
What do you think about idea?
I believe, in times where it's hard harder to get a profitable interest rate, it's crucial for the smaller investors to have access safe and profitable investment opportunities. Besides that I believe that in devolving countries, where it's harder or sometimes impossible, to access traditional financial companies that Brickken can play a key role for people to have access to online financial products. That aside Brickken can also play a key role in financing sustainability projects.
