  • The initial version of Authenticateit is introduced. The system supports basic supply chain management for brands and retailers and the product database is a list of records with prede ned attributes.

    Authenticateit is selected by the 3rd largest e-commerce platform in China (DHGate) to help with product authentication for products sold via DHGate platform.
    Leading European Brand protection law rm Novargraaf has partnered with Authenticateit to help their customers to protect their IP
  • 2015

  • App improvement enables App to scan any GS1 standard barcode not just GS1 Datamatrix and Databar and link user to the product-related information. The platform can now work with other trusted data sources which make App relevant to any product that has a barcode.
    The application gets new features to support Socialization and Rewards.
    Authenticateit signs a strategic partnership deal with New Zealand government-owned food safety and quality assurance company AsureQuality and gains access to another data source.
    The United Nations, engaged by China Asia-Paci c Smart Agricultural and Food Safety Industrial Project select Authenticateit as the exclusive track and trace solution for the province of Changchun. (Project commences in 2018).
    Authenticateit is selected by the 3rd largest e-commerce platform in China, DHGate to support product authentication for products sold via the DHGate platform.
    Authenticateit partners with GS1 Russia, GS1 Azerbaijan and GS1 Malta.

PROS:

  • Easy updates: The shping mobile application enables the users to easily learn what is in it, where the products are from and their authenticity. Further the consumers are able to extract useful information from the application to support them  with their shopping services
  • The platform enables easy marketing budget used in rewarding the consumers directly for their engagement  and attention rather than paying a large sum to the media giants
  • Traceability: The platform enables the  consumers ,brand retailers, distributors and governing bodies top validate whether any given product is safe and authentic, meets the standards required
  • The platform enables the users to scan the product barcodes with their mobile devices hence ensuring faster authenticity before effecting any shopping
  • The platform provides brand  and marketers with new and highly targeted channel to send their useful messages to the consumers  upon scanning their products barcodes hence easening the marketing process
  • The serialized global  trade item number (SGTIN) and unique data matrix code enables the manufactures to track each individual product in the shping platform  hence providing a powerful brand protection and security to the users
  • The platform has a good number of expertise on board led by the CEO,MR.Volchek  who has built several successful businesses

CONS:

  • The project whitepaper doesn’t fully highlight how the shping coin can be exchanged with other crypto currencies
  • The incentives provided to the users in terms of commissions awarded on the products is not indicated

SUGGESTIONS

  • The shping coin should be made exchangeable with other crypto currencies
  • The user incentives should fully contain the commissions offered to the consumers

Product Verification: Users can verify the products they’ve bought and be rewarded in Shping Coin for doing so.
Market Incentive: Shping helps marketers and sellers by giving them a platform that assesses the validity of their product which helps improve the overall loyalty of their consumers and overall market brand.
Blockchain Security: Since it’s on Ethereum’s blockchain, users won’t have to worry about Shping coin being inflated in value or mined.

Negatives
Traditional Online Stores: How will they react according to Shping’s development? Will they try to stop the ICO from taking their market share?
