Nakamoto’s Den

Nakamoto’s Den, an upcoming blockchain event in early 2019, announced to be working on the biggest blockchain conference in Cyprus, featuring the world’s first live investment battle between international blockchain companies. The project is led by the blockchain consulting agency Universal Crypto, which previously organized a highly successful blockchain event in Cyprus known as iCoinSummit. Nakamoto’s Den is expected to welcome more than 1,200 blockchain enthusiasts and 16 carefully chosen teams from the blockchain space.

The spacious lofts of the Carob Mill complex in Limassol, Cyprus, will open its gates to blockchain supporters and entrepreneurs from all around the globe from the 19th to the 20th of February, 2019. Nakamoto’s Den’s main vision is to connect and educate attendees in order to push forward decentralization and blockchain adoption. The key elements of the event include a 1500 square meters expo floor with more than 25 booths from established companies, a conference that features presentations from thought-leaders across the industry and several panel discussions and educational workshops. The heart of the project is a novel investment battle where digital startups and post-ICO projects compete against each other to get rewarded with a generous investment by present venture capitalists and investment family offices.

Steve Tendon, one of the more than 15 Nakamoto’s Den keynote speakers, who previously helped designing Malta’s national blockchain strategy, believes the conference to be a “unique opportunity for obtaining precious information about all things related to blockchain technology and regulations.”

Digital startups and post-ICO projects are now able to apply for one of the 16 sought-after battle slots. Companies that get invited to the investment battle will be awarded with a booth on the expo floor and the opportunity to prove their worth in front of several judges and investors. Battle slots and booths for participating teams will be completely sponsored by the event, with an option to upgrade to a bigger booth for a small fee. For a short amount of time, attendees will be able to secure a discounted early-bird ticket for only €169 (ex. VAT).

Universal Crypto’s CEO Bogdan Maslesa is confident that the event will be a huge success. “With the experiences we obtained at the iCoinSummit in early 2018 and our long-term preparation throughout 2018, we now have the tools necessary to host one of the most valuable events for blockchain entrepreneurs and activists of 2019.”
