Tadas Jucikas

I am a computational biologist, entrepreneur and a data scientists who specialises in building data science teams and analysing large amounts of data. I have completed my PhD at Cambridge Darwin College in Computational Biology in 2013 and helped build and animal behavioural database of a nematode C.elegans which, through the work of Nobel Prize winner Sydney Brenner and many scientists who followed his research, gave us unprecedented insight into our own molecular biology and nervous system. For the past four years, I have built and managed data science teams in both the private and public sectors and pioneered applications of machine learning algorithms and AI. I have co-founded Genus AI which focuses on using technology to understand people and the world around us. At Genus AI we are building a new kind of artificial intelligence system which helps us inform and have a positive impact on the real world.
