The Midwest Blockchain Conference 2025 (MBC), held on December 5–6, 2025, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is a landmark event dedicated to advancing blockchain education, innovation, and collaboration across the Midwest. Organized by Michigan Blockchain, College DAO, and Michigan Ross Business+Tech, the conference connects students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to explore real-world blockchain applications, decentralized technologies, and the future of digital infrastructure. With its unique focus on bridging academia and industry, MBC 2025 stands out as one of the most student-centered blockchain gatherings in the U.S.
The inaugural event welcomed over 1,000 attendees, including 700+ students from 50 universities, 30+ blockchain companies, and 50+ speakers across 9 thematic areas. Featured voices included Austin Federa (Solana Foundation), Chris Jensen (Franklin Templeton), Soona Amhaz (Volt Capital), Getty Hill (Uniswap Foundation), and Angela Brasington (Andromeda), who shared insights on tokens, investing, and blockchain’s impact on society. Supported by major sponsors such as Avalanche, Uniswap Foundation, Sei Network, Sui, Helium, Parcl, Coinbase, and Internet Computer (ICP), the event combined keynote talks, interactive workshops, panels, and a career fair. With free tickets for students and travel support for university blockchain clubs, MBC 2025 serves as both a talent accelerator and a platform for collaboration — shaping the future of blockchain from the classroom to the enterprise.
