Dakar Bitcoin Days 2025 returns to Dakar, Senegal from October 29–31, 2025, at the prestigious National Grand Theatre Doudou Ndiaye Coumba Rose. Now in its third edition, this fully Bitcoin‑focused event — organised by Yité Technologies in collaboration with the Bitcoin Senegal community — brings together developers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, students, and enthusiasts to explore how Bitcoin can drive financial inclusion, digital sovereignty, Lightning Network adoption, and grassroots education across French-speaking Africa.

Known for its multilingual format in English, French, and Wolof, Dakar Bitcoin Days blends beginner-friendly workshops on using Lightning wallets with deeper discussions on Bitcoin security, cryptographic innovation, and whether Bitcoin is halal in a predominantly Muslim nation. With attendance averaging ~350 participants per edition, plus regional delegations from Mali, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, and beyond, it’s part cultural exchange, part community-building summit — perfect for both newcomers and seasoned builders shaping Bitcoin’s path in Africa.
