As a chartered accountant and registered auditor my role is to advise DEPO team on the accounting and tax treatment of the DEPO tokens and the overall compliance with the financial reporting requirements. The idea of depositing digital assets as loan collateral is commercially viable and will reduce time and fees for loan approvals by lenders.

Pros:

The platform use removes the need of state-owned and centralized depositories allowing any lending institution to built independent depositories within the system to enable the users to easily access crypto funds
The platform is highly secure as it uses cryptographically secure multi-signature wallets to store the assets enabling the borrowers to keep ownership of their crypto assets
The platform through DEPO smart contracts automates multi-party business processes and faster transactions making the project reliable
The platform is highly flexible as its integration of blockchain and traditional system enables the token holders to have the flexibility to acquire fast fiat currency
The platform makes the users to easily adopt crypto assets as part of the traditional lenders business through the integrated system
The white paper is detailed and available in all the languages enabling the users to easily understand the platform need in ensuring that they easy lending and borrowing in different cryptocurrencies and fiat
The platform has a good management team and advisory team with different skills and experiences relevant to the platform requirement enabling easy implementation

CONS:

The DEPO tokens doesn’t give the holder voting rights and participating in the projects decision making
The amount raised by the DEPO tokens for the project implementation is not highlighted

SUGGESTIONS:

The platform DEPO token use should provide more incentives to the users by giving them voting rights and having a share of the profit generated
The amount raised by the DEPO token during its crowd sale should be specified for easy implementation of the project

NOTE:

The platform through the integration of traditional financial systems and blockchain enables borrowers to have full control of their wallets and ability to exchange fiat with other crypto assets. This makes the platform viable and I would invest in it.

Team Experience: Svetoslav Dimitrov has over 15 years of professional experience. And it has Martin Kuvandjiev, the co-founder of Bitcoin gold behind the project. Because of their experience, Depository is a project that has a high chance of succeeding.
Investor Incentive: The borrower has ownership of their assets, and benefits from any increase in price value.
Integration: You don’t have to worry about being limited by one lender website. Depository is decentralized, making it easier to integrate with any lender website. Thus, saving investors time and money on their ventures.
Negatives
Competition: This ICO is in direct competition with other asset collateral blockchain projects. It will take some time before we see this ICO surpass the competition.
Limited Vision: While Depository is a great idea, it will have problems reaching a wider audience. This ICO will have to make its product appealing to the public if it plans to grow in the future.
