Initial assessment of computing resources required by our scientists for data-driven research and the resources actually available to them. Investigated the causes behind decline in shared computing networks. Conceptualized Astra – The Social Supercomputer project.

CUSTOMER VALIDATION
Astra project validation with research groups. Developed strategies for raising the value of Astra Tokens (STARs). Developed the Astra Whitepaper, technical roadmap, and business plan.

COMMUNITY BUILDING
Presented Astra project at various Meetups in Silicon Valley to gather consumer feedback. Initiated the process for online Astra communities. Built engineering team and early project backers.

PREPARATION FOR TOKEN SALE
Investigated regulatory landscape for fund-raising and compliant token sale in early 2018. Prepared the Marketing Plan and literature for raising awareness of the Astra Project around the world.

An intuitive platform to build and launch distributed computing projects on Astra Network. The scientists, researchers, and commercial organizations can create their applications in any environment and Astra will be able to efficiently launch and orchestrate them on Astra Network.
