Algorand

24-Apr. I passed on it. I mean the team they're basically academics, right, and in my experience, projects with academics team, for the most part, have not done well. But in terms of the actual technology, though it's supposed to be supposedly good. I mean it could do what it's supposed to do but for me personally in terms of getting in ICO, not for me.

Algorand is a protocol which aims to create a new way of rapid and efficient users consensus. For now, it is just a whitepaper ICO with an all-star team which consists of professors from MIT, Harvard University, Brown University, Berkeley, New York University. 
Algorand has already raised $4 million from venture investors (Pillar and Union Square Ventures) to launch a blockchain-based system. Algorand is working on Testnet and trying to prepare its publicly available MVP prior to the investment stage.
There is lack of crucial information about ICO: dates, tokenomics, roadmap, and other strategic partnerships.
We give Algorand status "on the radar" and will follow the development of the project.
