Summary

TIPBot looks to have promise. Although we don’t see an MVP yet, the team looks like they are set on providing a product that can be used in the real world in early 2019. The roadmap may be rather long, therefore return of investment may be slow.

Positives
New Demographic: TIPBot will introduce new users to cryptocurrencies by providing an easier barrier to entry through their mobile application.
Proof Of Stake: Staking the coin will provides incentives for users to hold the token and provide a energy efficient inflation model.
Use Case: Often times token utility is questionable, however TIP has a real use case and will function within the TIPBot app.

Negatives
Competition: Within the payment niche there are many competitors. Although none have directly focused on tipping, TIPBot will have strong competition such as Ethos, SGPay and others.

There is a lot of factors that would go into judging the outcome of TIPbot in the long run. So far I would make a fair judgment by ranking the project as having much potential. While it may seem far-fetched, TIPbot could gain popularity with the society becoming cashless. Additionally, users won't need to worry about how secure their details or wallets are, as there is no need for such information. In essence, TIPbot is a valuable addition to the financial ecosystem and could prove essential if it works in the long run. The bottom line is to get the use of cryptocurrency into various users. If that is successful, then TIPbot is sure to make it convenient for more users.
