NaviAddress is the first global digital addressing system using blockchain technology.
We believe it will revolutionize the traditional physical address (i.e. locations of people or things). It allows users to replace a postal address with a NaviAddress, which is a specific sequence of numbers.
A NaviAddress makes your life better: when traveling, finding a place to meet, receiving a package - and in many other ways as well.
It is more than a replacement, however. Like a smartphone is not just something you use for calls, a NaviAddress is more than just an address replacement. It includes metadata (relevant and useful information) for the specific location or object, such as last mile navigation, media, and contact details. Every location will have its personalized digital identity, for example.
NaviAddress not only combines all the advantages of existing addressing and geolocation systems (such as postal or geotags), and eliminates their drawbacks, but also brings new uses to individual and business users such as delivery and taxi services, HoReCa, and e-commerce.
Introducing blockchain technology gives globally recognized addresses to the four billion people worldwide who – according to the United Nations – are living without a physical address. The blockchain provides no dependency on central authority – as opposed to the approach taken by some of our competitors.
In addition, Blockchain technology allows delivery businesses to decentralize storage of Naviaddress data, adds the advantage of immutability of data and – importantly – can be verified by 3rd parties to give a ‘certified’ mark to the address.
Facilitating a “virtue” cycle for token circulation: NaviAddress introduces the NAVI token (or NVT) thereby creating a network effect. The more people joining NaviAddress to order deliveries, the more delivery services companies use NaviAddress to plan their deliveries, the more addresses get verified – meaning end users get ever increasing value. This approach is similar to the CIVIC project, which develops digital identities for people on the blockchain.
In conclusion, the NaviAddress platform on the blockchain will provide:

The Naviaddress adoption of blockchain technology is gaining wide acceptance. As of December 2017, there were more than 200,000 application installations, more than 45,000 active monthly users, and more than 1.5 million registered NaviAddresses.
Global brands such as Uber and Booking.com already support NaviAddress mobile applications; a deal with the pan-European delivery company DPD is under negotiation.
