Inverse Finance is a decentralized autonomous organization that develops and manages a suite of permissionless and decentralized financial products using blockchain smart contract technology. Originally founded by Nour Haridy in late 2020, the protocol is now governed by Inverse Finance DAO, a collective of crypto enthusiasts. Our code base is open source and maintained by the community. Inverse Finance's main products are:
- FiRM, a fixed-rate lending market, and
- DOLA, a stablecoin pegged to the US Dollar
- DBR, a new DeFi primitive that enables holders to service a DOLA loan on FiRM.
INV holders hold voting power in our on-chain governance system called Governor Mills. A proposal takes a minimum of five days to move through the process and to be more agile, Inverse DAO has created Working Groups with limited discretionary budgets. Reach out in the CWG-General channel if you're interested in contributing. INV is the governance token for Inverse Finance DAO in our on-chain governance system.
As a DAO, we're driven by the goal to secure the availability of synthetic assets, like decentralized stablecoins, and immutable tools, enabling economic freedom. In all actions, we strive for decentralization, transparency, sustainable growth, and direct control and oversight by our members. We envision a world where decentralized stablecoins empower everyone with an internet connection.
