TUM Blockchain Club is a non-profit student organization officially registered as e.V. (Eingetragener Verein). Since its founding, the club has grown to more than 50 active members and has become a leading hub for the student blockchain ecosystem in Germany. The club’s main goal is to promote education, build a professional network and support innovative projects in the field of blockchain technologies.
The club actively organizes and participates in various events, including hackathons, workshops and conferences. One of the key events is the TUM Blockchain Conference, which takes place annually in Munich. The conference brings together leading experts from academia, industry and the public sector to discuss current Web3 topics such as education, research, ecosystem, applications and regulation.
For students and young professionals, the club offers participation in BlockSprint, a three-month program in which participants work on real projects with industry partners, solving current problems in the field of Web3. This allows participants to gain practical experience and establish professional connections.
The club is also actively developing educational initiatives, including a series of Blockchain 101 events aimed at introducing the basics of blockchain technologies. These events provide participants with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and discuss current topics with experts in an informal setting.
