I am currently based in Singapore for R3 as Director of Solution Architecture for the Asia Pacific region, meeting with clients to design and apply distributed ledger and blockchain technologies to their industry use cases. Formerly I worked for IBM as an architect for digital commerce solutions, which included payments systems, digital marketing and customer analytics, B2B integration, and applied blockchain patterns. I also spent a number of years as a Worldwide Solution Architect for IBM, with customer engagements in many geographic markets and across multiple industries (which included special assignments in Japan and China supporting customers and developing technical sales strategies). Other IBM experience included: - Seven years as a middleware specialist and solution architect for IBM in NYC, especially for customers in banking, financial services, insurance and media. - Three years as a professional services consultant for Transarc Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of IBM specializing in transaction systems. - Additionally, over ten years as a systems administrator, user support specialist, technical trainer, technical writer, etc. Specialties: Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies; enterprise application and system architecture; infrastructure design; cloud computing (particularly PaaS and SaaS); business process management (BPM); payments; SOA, J2E and Web services; connectivity and messaging; distributed computing; translating business and technical requirements into IT solutions with measurable results.
