Ryan Pfenninger

Ryan is a co-founder of MarketRiders and is an accomplished technologist who has applied his skills to both investing and operational finance. As our Chief Technology Officer, Ryan has overseen the development of all MarketRiders software and systems and has led development of the portfolio management system through the current version. Ryan is a rare technologist who knows how to listen and understand our subscriber requests and translate those requests into our software, which continues to improve and evolve. Ryan also is a venture partner at Elevate Ventures where he evaluates early stage technology, life science, and advance manufacturing companies for possible investment and work with existing portfolio companies in areas ranging from marketing to strategy to technology development. He was the Director of Operations and Finance for Smule where, among other things, he served led the design and development for I Am T-Pain iPhone application. Ryan also served as the Chief Technology officer for Medical Care & Outcomes, where he developed the company's patient intervention system and helped guide the company through acquisition. From 2002 - 2006, Ryan worked as a financial analyst for two hedge funds, Joe Feshbach Partners in Palo Alto, and Financial Stocks in Cincinnati. Mr. Pfenninger holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and a M.S. in Information Systems, both from Indiana University.
