Sobre SBC Summit 2026

The Science of Blockchain Conference 2026 (SBC’26) is a premier academic conference focused on the technical foundations and scientific advancements of blockchain technology.

Held on July 27–29, 2026 at Stanford University, the conference brings together leading researchers and practitioners working across blockchain protocols, cryptography, distributed systems, secure computing, and crypto-economics.

SBC’26 is designed as a research-driven, non-archival forum, where the emphasis is placed on collaboration, open discussion, and the exchange of cutting-edge ideas rather than formal publication. The event fosters interaction between academia and industry, creating a space where theoretical breakthroughs meet real-world implementation.

The conference features technical talks and paper presentations, continuing a strong tradition of contributions from previous years. All sessions will be live-streamed, with recordings made available afterward, ensuring accessibility for a global audience.

The event is co-organized by IC3, the Stanford Center for Blockchain Research (CBR), and UC Berkeley RDI, reflecting a powerful collaboration between leading institutions in the field.

In addition to the main conference, affiliated workshops such as the SBC DAO Workshop and MEV Workshop will take place, extending the program and deepening discussions on specialized topics.

Attendance is free with registration, making the conference accessible to anyone interested in the scientific side of blockchain innovation.
