Space and Time

Space and Time is a decentralized, permissionless blockchain built to function as a tamper‑proof data warehouse and compute layer for Web3. It allows developers to query on‑chain, off‑chain, and cross‑chain data using SQL—and every query is secured with zero‑knowledge (ZK) proofs to provide cryptographic guarantees of correctness.

Sobre Space and Time

One of its core innovations is Proof of SQL, a sub-second ZK coprocessor designed specifically for SQL queries. Prover nodes execute the SQL logic off-chain on validated data, then produce a ZK proof certifying both the integrity of the data (that it has not been tampered with) and the correctness of the query computation. These proofs are then verified on-chain, offering trustless answers directly to smart contracts.

Space and Time also includes a blockchain indexer that automatically reads archived data from major blockchains, decodes smart contract events, and writes them into relational tables. Developers can then query this data in real-time, or join it with their own private or off-chain datasets to build more sophisticated on-chain applications.

Security and decentralization are foundational. Validator nodes maintain cryptographic commitments—essentially fingerprints—of the database tables, and consensus ensures that these commitments are immutable and auditable.

With its new mainnet, Space and Time empowers developers to build data-rich smart contracts. Smart contracts can now access historical, cross-chain, or off-chain data in a verifiable way, enabling use cases like on-chain AI agents, complex DeFi instruments, and dynamic tokenized real-world systems.

Space and Time is also partnering with AI infrastructure to provide verifiable Web3 data for training and execution, ensuring that AI models can operate on trustfully computed datasets.
