Currently, the BMC token utility value and benefit consist of the two use cases:

Purchasing advertisement on BountyMarketCap with a 30% discount;
Receiving revenue share. Thanks to the public auctions, BountyMarketCap’s revenue is visible to everyone. So, all funds (ETH and BMC) collected from advertisers are distributed to BMC token-holders 4 times per year.

Revenue share distribution example

For example, BountyMarketCap sold ad banner placements for 100 ETH and 500,000 BMC during Jan 01-Mar 31, 2021 period. Therefore, these funds (100 ETH and 500,000 BMC) will be distributed to the addresses of all BMC token holders due to the Etherscan list.

The distribution is processing in accordance with the percentage of ownership. The ownership percentage is automatically detected due to the Etherscan snapshot made on Mar 31, 2021, at 23:00 UTC.

Imagine, you have 10,000 BMC on the 31st March 2021. That's 0.01% of the total token supply of 100,000,000. So, you get 0.01 ETH and 50 BMC revenue share due to April 05, 2021.
Note that exchanges' wallets are excluded from distribution, so to get revenue share you should keep BMC tokens on your personal wallets.

There are no any locks and vesting periods.

The token sale proceeds are being allocated to the Alexa rank growth and marketing.
