As one of the most emerging fintech markets in the region, Vietnam is home to 19+ billion USD worth of e-payment transactions and the second largest market in ASEAN in Fintech financing volume. The market valuation has increased from 0.7 billion (2016) to 4.5 billion USD in 2022 and the volume of transactions increased by over 150% between this period with 29+ million users.

Vietnam Fintech Summit (VFS), the flagship event of Vietnam Fintech Week (7-11/10/2024), serves as the pinnacle gathering in Vietnam's fintech landscape. It acts as an official gateway for foreign players to enter Vietnam, fosters meaningful connections with local and regional Fintech players, and facilitates strategic discussions at grassroots level on how to foster Fintech mass adoption. VFS is organized in alliance with Fintech flagship events in Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia to celebrate ASEAN Fintech Month in October 2024.
