Connected Africa Summit 2026 is a flagship pan-African technology and policy event taking place April 27–30, 2026 at The Edge Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. The summit brings together government leaders, policymakers, tech innovators, investors, and industry stakeholders to shape the continent’s digital future through collaboration and actionable outcomes. Positioned as a continuation of previous editions, the 2026 summit focuses on driving real implementation of Africa’s digital transformation agenda, including the launch of the Connected Africa Secretariat to support long-term progress.
The program is built around the African Union’s Digital Transformation Strategy (2020–2030) and covers critical pillars such as policy and regulation, digital infrastructure, innovation ecosystems, and skills development. Key thematic areas include AI and advanced computing, digital identity and sovereignty, climate tech, cybersecurity, immersive technologies, and cross-border digital trade frameworks. Through high-level keynotes, ministerial roundtables, technical workshops, and startup showcases, the summit bridges vision with execution, offering a platform for real dialogue on how to build a unified and sustainable digital economy across Africa.
More than just a conference, Connected Africa Summit acts as a continental coordination hub — where public and private sector leaders align on strategy, form partnerships, and accelerate initiatives that drive inclusive growth and innovation. It’s a space where policy meets technology, and where Africa’s digital future is actively being designed and implemented.
