We offer a flexible core launch service and a suite of supporting services that make life easier for customers. Our advanced launch vehicle means higher reliability, more flexible mission profile types and a regular, scheduled launch service.
With headquarters and production facilities in Forres, UK and design facilities in Denmark, our European location means shorter supply lines, easier communications and reduced operational costs.
Since 2015, we have raised over £38M in public and private funding and work with the support of several EU governments and key partners to ensure the best launch vehicle and launch site options.
The company has received funding from two of Europe’s largest venture capital funds (Sunstone Technology Ventures, now Heartcore, and the HighTech Gründerfonds) as well as private investors, the UK Space Agency (UKSA), the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Commission Horizon 2020 programme.
Orbex staff members have professional backgrounds with NASA, ESA and several other commercial spaceflight organisations.
