Future Energy Ventures (FEV) is a venture capital fund focused on investing in startups developing digital and digitized technologies that accelerate the energy transition and decarbonize society. Founded in 2016, FEV grew out of the corporate venture arm of E.ON and now operates as an independent fund with offices in Berlin, Tel Aviv and Silicon Valley.
FEV invests in startups at Series A and above, providing funding from €1 million to €10 million depending on the company’s stage of development. The average stake is 10–20%. The fund focuses on digital, scalable and lightweight companies that have demonstrated product-market fit.
