Over BICRA

BICRA Opens Dialogue Between Blockchain Players + Regulators
Blockchain technology holds the potential of ushering in a fourth Industrial Revolution: the revolution of trust in information. No longer will we worry about the truth of any data or the centralization of its accumulation. In the coming decade, we will see a transformation in our relationship to money through cryptocurrencies based on blockchain ledgers, the end of data and identity left through secure information transfers and the establishment of transparent voting processes.

Effective regulation contributes to the safe adoption of blockchain technology and its many applications. Compliance with local legislation and our self-administered Code of Conduct will strengthen the public’s sense of trust in the blockchain community.

BICRA (Blockchain Industry Compliance and Regulation) opens dialog between Blockchain players and Regulators. Founded in 2018 by privacy regulation professionals, Blockchain Industry Compliance and Regulation Association (BICRA) is created to fill the gap between the worlds of blockchain and regulation. By forming a community of blockchain professionals, BICRA aims to ensure that members are in compliance with regulations all over the world through transparency and integrity. BICRA hopes to recognize those who are encompassing our values. The real world application of blockchain technologies today have allowed for money laundering scams and fraudulent transactions, which regulators, auditors, and government officials must investigate. To improve AML (Anti-Money-Laundering) and KYC (Know-Your-Customer) standards, utilizing blockchain smart contracts for compliance and AML policies are both a necessity and an ethical solution to wrongful blockchain practices. BICRA will guide the blockchain industry in improving transparency of transactions and ensure user privacy.
