Dr. Murtuza Jadliwala

I direct the SPriTE (Security, Privacy, Trust and Ethics in Computing) Research Lab in the Department of Computer Science at UTSA. My research interests are in the broad areas of system and network security, especially, security and privacy issues in cyber-physical and socio-technical systems. I obtained my Doctoral and Masters degree in Computer Science from the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York in September 2008 and June 2004, respectively. Prior to that, I received a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University in June 2000. I was a Senior Researcher with the Laboratory for computer Communications and Applications (LCA1) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland from September 2008 until December 2011. Prior to joining UTSA in January 2018, I was an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department at the Wichita State University from January 2012 until December 2017.
