The company combines Hut 8’s experience in managing data centers and mining operations with Eric Trump’s commercial intuition and strategic vision. This collaboration is aimed at achieving scalability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth in the Bitcoin mining space.

Eric Trump is a co-founder and chief strategy officer. He is also the executive vice president of the Trump Organization and has experience managing large projects and investments.
Mike Ho is the executive chairman and a member of the board of directors. He also serves as chief strategy officer at Hut 8 and is a co-founder of US Bitcoin Corp.
Asher Genoot is a board member and CEO of Hut 8. He is also a co-founder of US Bitcoin Corp and is a Forbes 30 Under 30 in the Energy category.
Matt Prusak is the CEO of American Bitcoin. He previously held senior positions at Ionic Digital and Hut 8, and served as a consultant at Bain & Company.
In May 2025, plans were announced to merge American Bitcoin with publicly traded mining company Gryphon Digital. Once the deal is complete, the combined company will operate under the American Bitcoin brand and trade under the ticker symbol ABTC. American Bitcoin shareholders are expected to own 98% of the combined company, while Gryphon Digital shareholders will own 2%.
