Il token SureRemit (RMT) è un token di utilità costruito sulla rete Stellar, progettato per essere utilizzato da immigrati e clienti all'interno della piattaforma SureRemit. Seguendo questo standard, i token SureRemit sono facilmente trasferibili tra gli utenti e possono essere supportati da portafogli e scambi che già supportano i lumen stellari.
All'interno dell'ecosistema SureRemit, il token Remit (RMT) sarà utilizzato internamente per accedere ai voucher e pagare le bollette per le rimesse mirate. Gli immigrati e i clienti in generale potranno selezionare il paese che desiderano inviare valore, cercare il commerciante giusto in una categoria e creare un ordine per un buono da consegnare al destinatario tramite SMS o e-mail e pagare in token RMT. Una volta ricevuto l'ordine, il token verrà congelato fino a quando il voucher non verrà inviato dal sistema SureRemit. Quando ciò accade, il token viene trasferito su SureRemit. In futuro, speriamo di attivare l'accettazione diretta dei token RMT da parte dei partner dell'ecosistema, che possono a loro volta convertire in Fiat, questo renderà il trasferimento di token direttamente all'equilibrio del commerciante.
