After our successful first event at NIST in 2018, we have aligned this new agenda to bring the best industry, government, academy speakers to our 2019 IEEE Global Blockchain Summit. This is the flagship event promoted by the IEEE Blockchain Initiative together with NIST. It will be hosted at NIST Headquarter in Gaithersburg, Maryland from September 16-18th. The 3-days intensive program will cover the visionary, hot topics, challenges and opportunities in Blockchain technology and use cases.
This year a key theme will be governance and regulation, and we will have five panels addressing Government, Industry, Energy, Health Care, and Advanced R&D in Blockchain, led by government and industry visionaries. There will be two fireside chats discussing US Blockchain Policy and Regulation, led by a US Congressman, and another one on Blockchain Supply Chain opportunities. The speakers are leaders in their field and represent a good mix of the most important topics in Blockchain today.
