Oslo Fintech Hub is the independent fintech hub in the Oslo region. Our mission is to provide a unified fintech platform for innovation, by bringing to together fintech startups, financial institutions, regulators, service providers and investors. Oslo Fintech Hub is operated by TheFactory, in collaboration with ICT Norway.
Since 2016, TheFactory has organised a series of accelerator programs, events, meetups, in addition to building the largest fintech incubator in the Oslo region. Throughout this period we have seen that the startup eco-system has been lacking one key element - a central hub with one thought in mind; to give startups the best platform there is to develop their companies into global players.
The Oslo Fintech Hub is established by fintech startups and TheFactory in collaboration with ICT Norway, the interest organisation for the Norwegian ICT industry which represents the full spectrum from the major players down to small entrepreneurial companies.
Throughout the fall of 2017, we have established a Nordic fintech collaboration platform with Copenhagen Fintech Lab, Helsinki Fintech Farm and Stockholm Fintech Hub. Together we work to give fintech startups the best opportunity to grow across borders with the best possible partners.
In addition, a collaboration with fintech environments such as Finance Innovation in Bergen will give fintech startups the opportunity to grow nationally.
Oslo Fintech Hub offers the local fintech eco-system a local and international network for collaboration, learning, networking and investments. With members from the startup community and the financial environment, we believe that amazing things will happen. The interaction between startups and corporates is key for success!
Its time for the fintech environment in the Oslo region to get together and join forces with all key players, from startups to corporates, from investors to legislators, in order to make Oslo a centre for fintech innovation and industry collaboration.
