In 2023, MEET48 hosted the inaugural Global Web3.0 Idol Popularity Ranking, inviting over 300 idols to participate. This event attracted millions of users, accumulating over 2 million votes. We invited the Top 16 idols from the Global Web3.0 Idol Popularity Ranking to the "EDGE Global AI and Web3 Summit" in Hong Kong, where they performed alongside stars from the international music, sports, and art scenes, presenting a spectacular fashion show to the audience. As top idols meet the world of Web3, the acceleration of digital identity and virtual reality integration begins, creating a deeper connection between idols and fans.
As idols collide with virtual fashion, will excited fans light up Lan Kwai Fong? MEET48 aims to explore everyone's multifaceted selves through a series of themes. In March 2024, the Global Web3.0 Idol Fashion Ranking project officially launched. During the month, over 200,000 users cast a cumulative total of over 20 million votes, determining 7 fashion trendsetters: Liu Zengyan, Chen Ke, Jiang Shuting, Zhu Yixin, Bai Xinyu, Zheng Danni, and Zeng Aijia. In April, we collaborated with Web3 trend brands HAPE and emerging virtual personality AYAYI to host the "Back to the Streets · Digital Fashion Carnival." Lan Kwai Fong was transformed into a street fashion runway for both trendsetters and Web3 enthusiasts. The 7 fashion trendsetters from the Idol Fashion Ranking ignited the street with shows and performances，with enthusiastic fans bringing the atmosphere to a climax.
