Ekonavi runs a validator node on the Regen blockchain, which aligns its mission of environmental restoration with active participation in the decentralized infrastructure.
Ekonavi’s reward model is twofold. First, community members earn points for documenting and sharing their field activities, posting updates, hosting events, and interacting with other users. These points are distributed during “regeneration rounds,” with the most active contributors receiving rewards from a shared pool supported by the Regen staking rewards. Second, there’s the EkoToken, a blockchain-based token (minted as NFTs) that represents ecological impact. Each token encodes verifiable data on biodiversity, sequestration, and ecosystem management, and holders can benefit from the growth of ecological regeneration over time.
Through Ekonavi’s “Oficina” (workshop) program, ecological projects receive capacity building: participants learn how to measure and report impact, design data models for agroecological work, and tap into regeneration finance mechanisms.
Ekonavi serves as a data library for ecological outcomes, enabling transparent, verifiable reporting of social and environmental impact.
